Change the Language

Hello,
I am using the Microsoft Office 2004 Student Version for over a year
now. (Using a Powerbook G4)
All of a sudden I can not find the Option "Language..." under the
register "Extras"!!

How can I change the language for the spell check? And why did
"Language..." vanish anyways?

Many thanks,
Yoshi

I'm not sure which Office application you're referring to, nor what
'register "Extras"' refers to, but...

This may get you started. If not, post backk:

In Excel: If you don't see "Language..." in the Tools menu, choose
Tools/Add-ins... and select the Set Language add-in. Click OK. The
Language... menu item will then appear in the Tools menu.

Word: If you don't see "Language..." in the Tools Menu, choose
Tools/Customize/Customize Toolbars/Menus. In the Commands pane of the
resulting dialog, select Tools in the Categories list and drag Set
Language from the Commands list to the Tools menu of the menu toolbar.

In addition to JE's comments: make sure you have not accidentally turned on
the "Word 5.1" mode. If you press Ctrl+5, the toolbar layout and the menus
will change to reflect the look of Word 5.1. Press Ctrl+5 again to return to
your normal toolbar and menu layouts. There is indeed no Language entry in
the Extras menu of "Word 5.1" mode, and a really simple shortcut like Ctrl+5
is not really the best choice to enable a mode that most users probably do
not want to use anyway.
