Change the starting value of an AutoNumber field

Dear Sir or Madam

I have tried to start from my value in the AutoNumber and
did it according to help of Acces .

However every time I got the message as "Duplicate output
destination 'MyName'."

Could you help me , Please ?

Sounds like you've chosen the wrong query type--you want an update query,
not a create query.

Beyond that, it needs to be said that if you care what the value is, you
shouldn't be using an Autonumber in the first place. Autonumbers are
guaranteed to be unique, but they're not guaranteed to be sequential (or
even sensible <g>).
