Love the product! After a form is submitted, I want to need to save it as a
Word Document - haven't found any information on this.

There are a couple of ways to do this, but they are dependent on what you
wish to do with the word document later on?

1: it is possible to export an InfoPath form to a .MHT file (Microsoft HTML)
these files can be opened directly by Word
2: If you are planning to try and get to the data in the word document later
on though you will need to use an export to a word xml document.

Ben, Thanks for the response. Made me realize that I didn't ask the real
question - We have an old form in word (dumb document). Unfortunately, we
are audited on this exact form and can't change it. Also need to be able to
attach it as a DOC file in another application. However, want to use IP to
improve the data collection quality and feed Access.

I see how the MHT file works - pretty cool. I was able to create a new view
in IP that looks like the original word document. However, when I'm looking
at this view and select "Preview", I end up previewing the main form.
Likewise, when I try to print it, it prints the main form. Tried changing
the defaults, but doesn't seem to work.

Joel,
When you have more than one view in IP you can access alternate views via
the "View" menu. It is also possible to code up this functionliaty via a
command button on the first view that will direct the user to the second
view.

Hope this helps

Ben,

In following to your response to Joel's original question, I am trying to
get a version of my form to Word where I need to do a Select All, then copy
to the clipboard. I must get the form to the clipboard due to a specific
customer encryption technique. Can you provide some guidance on how I might
accomplish this? I unsuccessfully tried various VBScript techniques within
the form. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you,

Doug
