Change to recurring mtg sends a cancellation and a new mtg req.

When some users, but only a few, update text (i.e. the
agenda) for a particular occurrence in a recurring meeting,
rather than sending an update message, Outlook sends two
messages, a cancellation and a brand new meeting request.
This is a problem because if a meeting invitee opens the
two messages in reverse chronological order, they first
read the new meeting, and then the cancellation. If that
happens, the entry is removed from the calendar. I know
I've missed at least one meeting because of this.

Meeting updates from most users, however, work as expected.

Both the other user and myself are using Outlook 2000 SR-1
(9.0.0.3821). Any settings or patches that address this?

I've looked through both the knowledge base and the
microsoft.public.outlook.calendaring newsgroup and didn't
find anything. Thanks in advance.
