Change type size on computer screen in Word (not in doc)

I'd like my 12 point type size to appear smaller on my computer screen when
working in Word. It used to, and then suddenly changed to being big and
"horsey". How can I change it to smaller view again?

having said that, you might look at the Zoom setting of your document(s). if
it's set at 100 or larger, try making is smaller, for instance 88. if that
doesn't work, suggest you post your questions to an MS Word newsgroup.
