Change window size for appointments (Calendar Event)?

Hi all,

Entourage 2004 for Mac
Version 11.3.3
Mac OS X 10.4.9

When I open a new Calendar Event, the window that opens is HUGE - almost
the whole Entourage. Is there a way to make sure it is much smaller, and
much more reasonable in size (for example, the default Task opens in about
quarter of the size)?

Thanks,
Simon

Hi Simon!

I think this will work...

Create a new calendar event, resize the window correctly and then save
it. Quit and relaunch Entourage.

Hope this helps! bill

Thanks for the suggestion Bill.

Tried it, and it doesn't seem to work. I can create and resize the window,
but in order to save it, I actually need to create some kind of an event.
It keeps opening the same small size... but when I quit and restart, it's
back to the old big size...

Yes this is a bug in recent versions of Entourage. I'm not sure which
exact version introduced the bug, but I can tell you Entourage used to
remember the size and position of the Calendar Event window, and it was
within the past year that it started forgetting it when you quit the
application.

I've seen several updates to Entourage without this being fixed. So I
have to assume that (a) Microsoft knows about it and it's not high
enough priority to get fixed fast, or (b) Microsoft is simply not aware
of it.

I wonder where one might report bugs to Microsoft in an official manner
so it is tracked. Anyone know?
