Changed address

Greetings

I have:
iMac G5
OS X 10.4.5.
Entourage 11.2.1

I created a "Group"

Then I found that one person in the group had changed their e-mail address.

I changed it in his contact details.

I sent another e-mail to the group.

It went to his old e-mail address.

I looked again at the group - it showed the new e-mail address in the group.

The group had a group within a group - something I had not done before - so
I decided to recreate the group (25 addresses) from scratch without having a
group within a group.

The new e-mail address shows in the group.

The new e-mail address shows if I go to send an individual e-mail to that
contact.

The old e-mail address does not appear in his contact details

BUT when I send an e-mail to the group it STILL goes to his old e-mail
address (and bounces - just as well - so that I know) - even though I
recreated the group AFTER I changed his e-mail address in his contact
details.

?!?!?!

I found someone had a similar issue on Outlook but no solution at

That shouldn't be happening. You might have to rebuild your database.

What happens if you remove that contact from the group, make a brand new
contact for that person (don't Duplicate the old one, start a new one from
scratch), then delete the old contact, then add the new one to the group?

Thanks Paul

I'll try that - but I can't check it until next week as I don't want to
send out anything to the group until then and don't want to annoy the others
with unnecessary e-mails.
