Changed hard drive, MS Office program shortcuts don't work

I had to replace old hard drive with new and used Seagate Wizard to move all
files from old to new. Now clicking on MS office Word, Excel shortcuts in
Windows Start Menu fails to start these two programs. The icons on these also
look like the old DOS icons instead of the usual visuals. However, MS
PowerPoint and Access start with no problems as before. Can someone help me
get these shortcuts to find the programs again?

go to the msoffice folder, find the .exe files and
right click to send shortcut to desktop

You need to reinstall your programs, not transfer them.
