Changed Lines and Tables

In a document where Track Changes is turned on and changes are applied to a
table that extends across the page margins, Changed Lines may appear within
the table or directly underneath a grid line.
Changed Lines appear ON the page margin, but I can't see how to change the
margins in the region of the table. If the cursor is inside the table the
margin positions shown on the horizontal ruler are lost. If I select the
document before and after the table and change the margins, the change is
applied elsewhere on the page and presumably throughout the current section.
Does anyone know how to alleviate this problem?

Rather than changing the margins, which is a section property, change the
width of the table to 100%, in the Table Properties dialog box.
