Afternoon All,
I am working with a small non-profit that uses a provider for their email
services via outlook 2003. Recently the domain controller went down and I had
to reinstall everything and recreate AD. Of course the computers all had to
be joined to the new domain and that is when I started to have some ....
issues.
When I created new domain accounts for the users I neglected to backup their
outlook mailboxes. The provider only holds emails for 3 days (horrible)
before deleting them. The users in turn have to save all of their emails to
an archive so that they can keep all of their mail for future reference. I
setup the new profiles on our domain computers but now everyone has
completely lost their past emails. I tried to search for a .pst or .ost file
in these locations but I could find none.
C:\Documents and Settings\OLDUSER\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
C:\Documents and Settings\OLDUSER\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook
Am I on the right track here or am I just completely wrong?
Thanks Much
