Changes in Portfolio Analyser Views

Hi,

When I open a portfolio view and I try for example to change the projects
displayed by selecting or unselecting the checkbox next to the project name,
nothing changes.
The checkboxes cannot be changed. I was told it has to do with Microsoft
Office components but I have office installed on m PC.

Hi Kurt,

obviously, this article
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;288729 is dealing
with Office XP and Project 2002 but the Microsoft Support in Germany told me
this is also valid for Office 2003 / Project 2003.
If Project 2003 Prof. is installed on the PC the analyzer should work anyway.

It sounds to me like whomever set up the view has turned off the "filter" for
you. If you can go to "Command and Options", choose the Protection tab and
click the "filtering" box. If you can't go to Commands and Options, have
someone with the appropriate security do so (maybe your administrator).
