Hello,
I have a client who is using Word to create a form for
workers to fill out for work orders. For security
purposes, he has activated the document protection feature
of Word. He is actually basing the form off of a similar
form he created some time ago for a different process.
The document protection was turned off to make the
document changes, with the document being saved under a
different name. The document protection was turned back
on. Later, the document was opened again and the
protection turned off again for further changes (in this
case, to add borders around various items on the form).
After the changes were made, the document was re-saved and
the protection turned on again. However, when the
document is opened again after these changes were made,
the new borders don't show up. Several attempts have been
made to recreate the borders, but the changes won't hold.
Any suggestions?
