Changes will not be saved on the server

Hello,

When I activate a simple filter on an Enterprise view in Project
Professional, I get the message : "Changes will not be saved when you are
connected on the server".
How can I get rid of such a useless warning?

Happy New Year to you also -

You need to have the Enterprise Global Open and have the appropriate
permissions in order to save the Enterprise Global.

The safe process for doing this is to define the filter, grouping,
view, etc then open the Enterprise Global and use the Organizer (Tools

Organizer) to move the modification from the local file to Enterprise.

Hi Mark,

The only small thing I want to do is to activate a standard filter, such as
"Critical Tasks", then to go back to "All Tasks". That's not a real change
in the Enterprise view. This system warning is disproportionate!

Newbie:

If you don't want the warning, then don't apply the filter to an Enterprise
view, use a local view instead. For instance: Gantt Chart view versus
Enterprise Gantt Chart view.
