Changing a cell reference based on a "helper" cell

Hopefully you guys can help me out.

I'm using Excel 2007 if it matters.

I have currently have this

=Average(A&Helper!A1, A&Helper!B1)

My intention is for it to use the values in cells A1 and B1 on a sheet
named "Helper", so the resulting formula would look like this...

=Average(A5,A60)

Of course, this doesn't work. I need help with the syntax.

What am I doing wrong?
