Changing a site address

I was able to change the site address in the project properties and the site
is there. However, when I go to Server Settings and change the site address
so that users of PWA can access the project workspace, the change doesn't
stick. I choose the project, update the address, test the URL, and apply. The
change is ignored and I'm back to an incorrect address.

Any help would be appreciated.

We are using Project Server 2007.

Hey BJB – I think you need to take a look at SharePoint -> alternate access
mappings
