changing addresses

Gary

When I change an address in the personal address book,
the origninal address is still attached to the name in
the address book. When I type the name in a new message
the old address.

How do I delete the old address?

More details would help - version of Outlook? Are you really using a PAB
(personal address book) file instead of Contacts? Are you talking about the
autocomplete feature in OL2002?

It is Outlook 2002. I am talking about the auto complete.
Sorry for the missing details.

K - autocomplete doesn't care about what's in your contacts; it doesn't do
lookups. It just remembers what you've typed in before. When you see the
'bad' address suggested, highlight it using the arrow keys, and then hit
Delete.
