Changing an autoshape fill color in a slide when a Excel Changes

I created a power point deck that has multiple autoshapes in the first slide.
I would like the colors of these shapes to change based on the embeded Excel
spreadsheet. When someone changes the spreadsheet and the field goes to
yellow, I would like to have the autoshape on the first slide change to the
same color.

If I can link the autoshapes to the Excel fields so that the colors change
(red, yellow, and green) in the first slide based on the spreadsheet
information provided I can create a dash board affect.
