I work for a government agency and in previous versions of Word I created 7
global templates where I stored autotext specific to each template. Several
stored hundreds of entries. A script was created that ran daily when users
log on that deleted all the global templates in the Office/Startup folder and
replaced them with the newest versions that contain updates and/or additions.
This system worked great. With Word 2007 the building blocks organizer lists
all these global template entries as general autotext. I would like to be
able to categorize the entries for each of the 7 global templates to reflect
their description. For example: Global Template "OUROFFICE" has separate
entries for the employee name and one for their employee number. I want the
Employee name to be categorized as "Employee" and their Number to be
categorized as "Employee number". It is a daunting task to do this one by one
is there a way to batch change categories.
Thanks in advance for any assistance.
