Changing Capital letters to lowercase and locking field

M

Mike

Good evening,
I have a Word document that is mail merged from and
Access database. My Access database contains all capital
letters. However, I want the the capital letters changed
to lowercase except the first letter (i.e. JONES changed
to Jones). I went to format and change case and it worked
fine, however if I go to the next record it reverts back
to all capital letters (not what I want). Is there a way
to lock the format to keep the first letter capitalized
for all of the records? Please let me know. If there
isn't a way, please let me know as well. Thank you for
your time.

Respectfully,
Mike

Toggle the field codes (ALT+F9) then add a formatting switch - see Word help
under general switches, but the following should do the trick { MERGEFIELD
Name \*Caps }

Toggle back the field display then F9 to update.
