Changing chart defaults

I'm tired of changin chart defaults. I don't like plot area properties,
series marks and colors, fonts & sizes.

What can I do?

Is there a way to change these defalults ?...

Make a chart with all the settings the way you like them then turn this
chart into a user defined custom type:

While you're defining it as a custom type, make it the default type as
well. If you have a few favorite types, save them all, then pick the one
you need for each new chart.
