Hello,
Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) Processor: Intel For
individuals with color deficiency (red/green colorblind) issues... Is it
possible to change the "underlines" of the proofing tools to a different shade
of red and/or green or different colors altogether If so, how?
Thanks
If text and color visibility on the screen is a problem,
you can use the system-wide shortcut Control+Command+Option+8
to invert the colors on the screen, changing white to black,
black to white and so on.
You can also adjust the display contrast from the Apple System
Preferences - Universal Access command, to make subtle colors
more vivid and thus more obvious for those who have trouble
distinguishing certain colors.
Along those lines, you can also use the OS X display
color calibration features to make certain shades and colors
more prominent.
Word 2008 already provides 16 different colors in the
Word Preferences - Track Changes menu. Unfortunately, from
what Bob is saying, it looks like they can't be changed.
(Would be nice if they could be...)
