Changing Color of Font in Task Pane

I Currently use Microsoft office XP. Somehow, my font color in the task pane
is changed and it is difficult to see. I would like to change it back but I
can't find out where to complete this task. Any ideas?

In 2003 it is View, Arrange By, Current View, Customize Current View,
and then use the "Reset Button" or play with the individual settings and
formatting.

Bob, Thanks for the help, but unfortunately it did not work in Office XP. I
tried searching for "Customize Current View", "Arrange By", etc but no
answers there either. Again, Thanks for trying.

Mary,
The high contrast was not checked. I tried several different options under
accessiblity in Control panel to no avail. I guess I am still searching for
something that will work. Thanks for trying!!

Mary,
No, I have never used ClearType or the ClearType PowerToy. I did, however,
manage to change the font color in the task pane. I was just searching for
anything with a color and found if I did the following: - - - Start/Control
Panel/Network and Internet Connections/Internet Options (internet
"properties" pops up)/General tab/Appearance/Colors/"uncheck" Use windows
colors/change the "unvisited" color to what I want/"check" use Windows
colors/select OK/select OK/ - - - the color changed. Don't ask me why. I
remember a while back looking at this section, but didn't know it would
change the task pane. So.... I guess I will mark that I found my answer.
Thanks to you both for your help!!!

Ah, it's because the stuff in the task pane is links, and the Internet
Options settings govern those. Wow, I know I sure never would have found
that! Nice detective work.

Echo S,
Thanks! I just need to be really LUCKY sometimes!! What a relief to
finally find the solution. It wasn't something that stopped me from working,
but the color I had was AWFUL!!! Have a great day.
