changing color of hyperlink

I have a hyperlink for an email address in a presentation. I want to change
the color of the font, but it is not changing. I am sure there must be a way
to change it.

Susan,

The color of the hyperlink is based on the "color scheme"

Color number 7 in the color scheme controls the color before a click and
color number 8 controls how a link will look after it has been clicked.
