changing colors

I thought this is a very simple thing to do which is I want to change the color of some tasks. i choose these tasks then click on the "A" to popup the font format window I change the color of the selected tasks to red and bold every thing is well until saving the project "published we are using ms server 2003 too" when I open that project again he format and the color is no more there?

Hi,

Project Server keeps Enterprise versions of all Views. The idea is that only
administrators can edit Views (by opening the Global Enterprise then editing
or adding Views) to maintain consistency.

You can try creating a local view by clicking View, More Views to create
your own View and format. Create a new Table (View, Table, more Tables) to
determine the collection of columns you want visible.

this is not the point i don't want to change the colors in all the projects or the view i just want to change the color of some tasks in some projects into red.

Creating your own local View is the only way. If you want Text automatically
colored, then until2007 you don't have the Flag fields available, but you
can use the marked field. So either create your own local View, or re-format
your tasks every time!

You only need to use the new view when you do want to see specific tasks in
red.
