Changing % complete for a task that passed its finish date

In Project 2002 - I cannot change the % complete on a task that has passed
it's finish date - how can I do this?

Hi Samantha ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

You need to enter the actual data - Actual work and Remaining Work and let
Project calculate the %Complete.

Hello Samantha,
Have you tried to add any Remaining duration in the Update tasks dialog box
?
Tools / Tracking / Update Tasks...
