Changing computers

I tried to load Microsoft Office 2000 on my new computer and it won't allow me to
because it could not find an earlier addition or something like that. What do I
do?

Q post often in this ng, a google search would have yielded many hits;
Having said that, it because you have an upgrade version of Office and the
install cannot find the qualifying application.
Use yr original QApp cd and point the install to it.
You do have the QApp cd don't you? its part of the licence to use Office2K
upgrade.
