I bought a copy of Office XP for my 5 year-old laptop
which was already becoming more and more useless. Since,
I've bought a new computer and no longer use the obsolete
laptop. I've also uninstalled Office from the laptop. I
was told by the University of Texas software deparment
that after doing so I could get a new key so that I could
use the same copy of Office XP (which is no longer being
used on the laptop) on my new computer. I'd like to know
if it is indeed possible to get a new key or am I going
to have to purchase a completely new copy of Office XP.
thanks in advance for your help,
Albert
