Changing Connection at runtime

Hello everyone,

I use Access to connect to an MS SQL Server 2k.
Is it possible to change the connection at runtime, e.g. changing it from
server1\instance1 to server2\instance2, provided both servers contain the
database specified in the "initial catalogue" setting of the connection
string?

Any help highly appreciated.
