Hi,
on my PC version of Excel, I can change the direction the cursor moves when Enter is pressed, normally it goes vertically downwards to the next cell, but you can alter it to travel left to right through the Options menu. I have tried to find this on the Mac version with no success. Can anyone help me find out where it is, or how to do it.

On the Mac *Preferences* is the equivalent of Options on the Dark Side :)
It's usually found in the Edit Menu rather than Tools & in Office apps you
can bring up the Preferences dialog by using the Command+, keystroke.

The Preference you're looking for is in the Edit category & refers to
"return" instead of Enter.

You might peruse the Prefs while you're there as well as take a tour of
Excel Help. If you're new to the Mac these articles may be useful too:

Bob,
another great answer. Not only that but a couple of useful articles to get me teeth into. Many thanks again! Iain
