Changing custom animation on master does not appear on slides

I set my master slide bullet points to fade after animation, and all worked
fine. Then we needed to make the fade colour darker, but changing this on the
master slide makes the fade stop working altogether on the presentation
(normal view). I want this to work without having to copy the effects to each
slide as I want to make a template for my whole Company to use.

The only solution I have found is to start again from scratch with a new
presentation. Is there an easier way?

Hi,

You can try reapplying slide layouts. Go to Slide Sorter View, hold the
CTRL key and click to select multiple slides, click on Format, Slide Layout.
Select the appropriate layout and reapply.
