Changing dates for whole project

Hi, I'm completely new to Project and am teaching myself 2007 using the Home
move template. Is it possible to change the dates of the whole project? For
instance I want to the start date to be in 2009, not 2007 as per the
template. I've tried double clicking on the first task but the dates are
greyed out.

Sorry if it's a silly question

You can also use the “Adjust Dates†macro on the “Analysis†tool bar to
adjust all the start and finish dates for the tasks in your project in
relation to a new project start date. Tasks with constraints are also
adjusted.
