Changing default fill in Vision 2003

Unlike Visio 2002, most of the shapes in Visio 2003 have a light grey fill
by default.

I need the old white fill. I know that I can change the fill after I use a
shape, including in the document shape sheet. I also know that I can select
all of the shapes on a page and globally change the fill.

But is there a way to change the default fill color, at least on a custom
template?
