changing default language

I have the French version of office x, but my French is not as good as
my English. I have a difficult time reading some of the options such
as file, edit, view, etc. I was hoping there was some way to change
the language to English. I don't know if this would mean changing some
setting or uninstalling and reinstalling. Please help me. Thanks.

Brian,

You would have to buy an English-language version of the application.

Actually you can use the serial number you got with the French version
in an English version install. I don't know what the license agreement
is on this issue but I would guess you can "borrow" an English version
install CD and use it with your own French serial number.

That's interesting and good to know, Corentin. I wonder if Microsoft
contemplated this. :)

I don't remember anything about that, but I had the opportunity to test
it and saw that it worked. As far as I'm concerned, I don't see any
ethical problem there since I still only use one copy of Office - I just
use it in a different language.
