Changing default mail form.

I originally posted the following to microsoft.outlook.public. Since then
I've trawled a bit and seen other stuff that made me thing this might be a
more appropriate NG.

I run two machines.

One is my home PC where I run MS Outlook 2000 SP-3 Internet Mail only
and Win 98.

The other is my works PC where we have MS Outlook 2000 Corporate or
Workgroup in an Exchange Server environment and Win 2000 NT.

How do I make my customised mail message form the default on each of
these machines?

The other stuff I've seen is 2 years old and constantly warns about
potential problems associated with doing this. Are there still potential
problems associated with doing this, or have they been resolved?

If you have Outlook 2000 or 2002, you can make a registry change to substitute your custom form for the default form. See http://www.slipstick.com/dev/newdefaultform.htm#changedefault . I don't know of any particular problems doing this unless you're using custom ActiveX controls on your form.
