changing default outlook fonts size

I changed my display adaptor DPI settings and now in outlook 2003 folder list
some of the names of folders are getting cut off. I can go to each mail
folder and adjust the default font size but there should be a way to do this
across the board?

If I use normal DPI settings them all my fonts appear very small and its
hard to use. If I use large fonts then fonts are very large! its annoying
there should be more flexibility to do this? Does anyone know?

There is plenty flexibility, as you have discovered. The settings are
part of the operating system display settings.
