Changing default printer.

I installed a new printer, HP Deskjet 3840, but I use the old HP Laserjet 4
most of the time. I use an A/B switch on the rare occasions when I need to
use the new printer. The new printer set itself as the default when I
installed it. I want the old Laserjet to be the default. So I changed the
default in the control panel of Windows XP. And control panel properly
retains the Laserjet as the default. But Word 2003 still thinks the Deskjet
is the default. So I have to remember to click the drop down menu and
change printers every time I print. That means I can't use the shortcut
print function from a right click menu, or from the Print icon in the Word
toolbar. Do I have to uninstall the new printer?

I have an even better solution: Why don't you record a macro of yourself
printing the entire document to the first printer, then put a toolbar button
right up next to the original for it. Create a second macro to the 2nd
printer. You can print to either with the click of a button.
