Changing Drop-down Items once form is saved?

Hi, I'm new to InfoPath and I created a form for an individual service plan
which is not supposed to be changed once it signed by the client. Is there a
way to finalize the document so no changes can be made? Also I used drop
downs to select goals and intervention of the problems. Is there a why to
change the function or nature of the drop down to stay at the selected text
once the document is saved? Like a hard code or change the drop down to just
text?

Hi,

You can use the read only view for your scenario. when the any person opens
the form once it is saved , show the read only view instead of editable view.
