I have about 2000 contacts that I imported to Outlook 2002. Many of these contacts are couples (i.e. John and Mary Smith). I need the "File As" field to default to "Smith, John and Mary". I believe my difficulty is related to the "Full Name" and "First", "Middle", and "Last" name fields. If I import the Full Name field, then the Middle name ends up being "And", and the Last Name field ends up being the spouse's name. So I have created a user-defined text field that contains the Full Name text, and have mapped the import fields for only the First, Middle & Last
This ends up meaning that my File As field only contains a reference to the primary name (i.e. Smith, John) and does not reference the spouse name
Is there any hope of getting what I need here? Seems odd that Outlook would only include name functionality for either individuals or companies and not couples..
