Changing File New in Word 2007

Domino

When going File, New in Word 2007 it defaults to Blank and Recent. Is there
a way to change it so it would be File My Templates or is there a key board
short cut that I can create. I have many different templates that are used
on a daily basis and don't like having to go up and select every time I need
a new template.

Thanks

Add a button to your Quick Access Toolbar. Right-click the toolbar and choose
Customize. Set the category to Commands Not In the Ribbon. Select "New Document
or Template..." and then click the Add button.

The added button opens the old dialog (the command it runs is called
FileNewDialogClassic).
