Changing finish date according to a custom work field

Hi, I'm using project server2003.
I want to change the finish date of a task according to a custom work field.

The custom work field will show the changes in work based on delayes (the
resource in not working full capacity)
I don'e want to change the work since the effort has not been changed.

How can I do this?

The only way to change the Finish date of a task according to a custom work
field is using VBA. You might want to post this message in the
microsoft.public.project.developer newsgroup to let our developers share

Assuming you are using the Web interface to access the newsgroups, the link
is Microsoft Project > Developer. If you are using a newsgroup reader, then
the newsgroup name is microsoft.public.project.developer. Hope this helps.
