Changing finish date acording to a work custom field

Hi,
I'm using project server2003.
I want to change the finish date of a task according to a custom work field.

The custom work field will show the changes in work based on delayes (the
resource in not working full capacity)
I don'e want to change the work since the effort has not been changed.

How can I do this?
