Changing footer when page layout changes?

Hello,

I have a 30 page document where the last 10 pages are in landscape. I am
trying to put a footer so that the footer is wider for those last 10 pages.

When I change the page setup to New Page / This page forward to make the
footer changes, it messes up the first 20 pages. I have been up and back
trying to get the footer right for the vertical vs. horizontal pages.

Can someone tell me the correct procedure to get this right?

Sorry, I found the problem. I had to remove "same as previous" from the
landscape pages.
