changing footers in a long document

Janice

How do I change a footer in a long document so that it
displays a specific footer for a specific section of the
document? I need to be able to alter the footer for
multiple parts of the document

Thanks
Janice

If you have inserted section breaks, then you need to disable Same as
Previous in any footer that you want to be different from the previous one.
But note that if your footer is picking up text from the document, you can
use the StyleRef field, which will change automatically without the need for
section breaks.
