Changing from Windows Authenication to MS Project server

I try to change a user logon from Windows Authentication
to MS Project Server. I get an error number 5005 that
states the username and password combination is not
correct.

What is the difference between username and user ID?

Please advise

When you convert a Windows user to a Project Server User, the password is
blank unless you specifically set it. The username is the name as it appears
in the username field including any spaces.
