Is there a way to change the color of text you highlight in a message?
I don't like that light blue color.

Do you mean the color shown when you select a message in a table view? If so,
that's a Windows setting, not an Outlook setting. If that's not what you
mean, please be more explicit in your description.

I am talking about highlighting the text in the message window itself,
not the mailbox. The highlight color is light blue and the text color
remains black.

Are you speaking about the highlightling that occurs when you select a range
of text or some other type?

I am viewing a message someone sent me. I want to highlight a sentence
they wrote to show it to someone else standing over my shoulder. That
sentence I just highlighted in the message is light blue now. I don't
like the light blue because I don't think there is enough contrast. I
want yellow or some other color. Can it be changed?

I cannot make myself any clearer than that.

Isn't that the same color you get when selecting in Wordpad or Notepad or
Excel or any other Windows program? If so, it'a Windows setting.

Okay, how do I change it?

Okay, how do I change it?

Like I said, it's a Windows question. Ask in a Windows forum. (Hint:
right-click on the desktop, choose Properties, select the Appearance tab,
click the Advanced button. Look for the "Selected Items" settings.)
