changing images in page head

I want to make a document were the user can choose one of five different
images. The image is placed in the page head as an background picture. I have
tried with macros, image placeholders but can not get it work properly.
Anyone out there that can guide me the right way?

PANIC! The pictures disappear when closing down Word. When I start word and
use the template it says that the autotext does not exist!
Any suggestions of solution?

Sorry - I found out what I have done wrong. I saved the autotext Picture 1 to
5 only in this template and now I can shut down and open and the autotext is
still there.
