Changing language in a document

We often get Power Point presentations from Italy, where the air conditioning
units we sell are manufactured. We use those files and translate directly,
and keep the layout. When we write in Swedish all words have squiggly red
lines, as they are checked with the Italian dictionary. Is there a way to
tell Power Point that all paragraphs now should be in Swedish, so I don't
have to select the one after another and change language? As there is no
shortcut for language (as far as I can see), it takes a lot of time as the
Italians have used many "frames" on each page to write text in, instead of
one larger...

Hi

You would have to use vba there's an example of the code here:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/245468

However you will find that this code doesn't do that great a job - text in
tables, groups, diagrams is ignored as are empty text boxes, notes and
several other possible sources of error. If this is good enough for you
that's great if not we have an add in that checks EVERYTHING and changes it
to ANY language.

There's a totally free trial

But that doesn't help! As we are using the textboxes that are already there,
it doesn't change anyhting that we write in them. Only if we make new
textboxes in the document.

VBA does't mean anything to me... have no idea how it works and how I should
do it. Will check out the free trial though. Thanks.

I have downloaded and installed. Where is the new toolbar? I use Power Point

Sorry I misread Sandy's reply. If it installed correctly there should be a
new toolbar called "Lingo" If it isnt there maybe your macro settings are
higher than medium. Either way email me and I'll sort you out.
