changing launch bar properties in Windows 2000

One of our users wants the "Open Office Document" shortcut
on the start bar to point to the last document that was
used/open. Is this possible.

Not that I know of unless there is a setting in the registry that could be
set.

Hi J.,

What version of Office are you using?

When the Open dialog box comes up click
in the Places bar and choose 'recent documents'
or 'history' (depending on the version you're using)
or create a separate Windows Explorer shortcut to
that folder.
