Good morning,
I'm trying to upgrade an old foxpro database into Access 2003 and need a
little assistance.
I have an existing network folder of documents that are associated with a
record on one of my tables.
These files are named after the primary key of the record they are
associated with.
I've been able to link to these files by adding a hyperlink field to my
tables, but In order to add new files the user has to manually rename the
file to the record's primary key and save it to the network drive.
I want to add a button that takes the file from the users hard drive,
renames it to the records primary key, and then saves the file to the network
folder.
I've been mining this wonderful group for solutions during this project and
this is the first problem I've had that I couldn't find an answer too.
Thanks in advance, this group has made my life a lot easier.
