Changing look up feature from First Name/Last Name to Last Name/Fi

When I address an email the system automatically makes me search by first
name/last name format. I would like to reverse this.

Do you know how to do it?

All of my contacts are already stored as Last Name/First Name. This is only
an issue when I go to send an email and am looking up the contact.
